An attempt to explain some of the terms used in our blog posts:<\/p>\n
Boonying – To park on the side of the road for the night<\/p>\n
Dinghy\/Toad – The vehicle in tow<\/p>\n
Go back – To lie in the bed while travelling, watching the world slide past<\/p>\n
Jimmy – Our male in house voice operating system<\/p>\n
Kroger – A large and surprisingly well stocked supermarket native to America<\/p>\n
Maisy – Our female in house voice operating system<\/p>\n
Pull-thru – Don’t even think about reversing out of that camp site<\/p>\n
Rig – The entire vehicular assembly<\/p>\n
RV – Recreational Vehicle<\/p>\n
Settlers – Either: Malkie waxing lyrical about American history, or an enjoyable board or iPad game<\/p>\n
Ten o’clock – Malkie’s bowel movement<\/p>\n
TMI (when said by Ryan) – Too much information from Malkie about his bowel habit<\/p>\n
Tude – Short for altitude (e.g. “can I have a tude check please” means “what height am I above sea level”)<\/p>\n
Viz – Not a word (though Lucy tried to use it in Bananagrams)<\/p>\n
Wall-mart – A large and surprisingly badly stocked supermarket native to America<\/p>\n
